Calls you miss on the tools
New kitchen and bathroom customers are planning big spends and often call several fitters. The ones who get a visit in the diary first have the best chance of winning the work.
Example calls, and how InstallerLine handles them
A new bathroom
The call: A homeowner wants their bathroom ripped out and replaced with a walk-in shower.
What InstallerLine does: Takes their details, the address and postcode, what they'd like and roughly when, then pencils in a design or quote visit as provisional.
What you get: A summary and a provisional visit to confirm with one tap.
Supply and fit?
The call: A caller asks whether you supply the kitchen or only fit it.
What InstallerLine does: Gives the answer you've approved, then offers to take their details for a visit.
What you get: A summary of the call and, if they want one, a provisional visit to confirm.
An aftercare call
The call: A past customer says a tap you fitted has started dripping.
What InstallerLine does: Takes the details and passes it to you as a call-back. It doesn't try to diagnose it.
What you get: A call-back request with the customer's details.

Hear a demo
📞 Call the demo line
The demo answers as a fictional heating firm, Borders Heating. Your line is set up for your own trade, with your services, area, hours and the questions you want asked.
Standard UK call rates apply. Calls to the demo line are recorded and transcribed so we can improve the service. Borders Heating isn't a real firm, so nobody will be sent out.

Questions from kitchen and bathroom fitters
Does InstallerLine work for kitchen and bathroom fitters?
Yes. We set it up for your firm: your services, area, hours, the questions you want asked and what counts as urgent. You approve exactly what it's allowed to say before it goes live.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number and divert calls you don't answer (or all calls, if you prefer) to your InstallerLine number. Your phone provider may charge for diverted calls, depending on your plan.
Does it confirm jobs on its own?
No. On Receptionist and Busy Firm it pencils jobs and visits into your diary as provisional, and nothing is final until you confirm with one tap or reply with another time. If you don't confirm within 24 hours (or 2 hours before the slot, if sooner), the slot is released and the caller is told you'll ring them.
Will callers know it's an AI?
Yes. It says so at the start of every call, and it tells callers the call is recorded.
Can it explain how my quotes work?
Yes, using wording you approve, such as whether visits are free and what happens after. It never quotes prices unless you've approved them.
What about leaks from work I've done?
You can tell it to treat leaks as urgent. You'll get a text straight away to ring the customer back.
